Public Beach and WaterslideCome enjoy our 300' sandy beach to relax on, two diving boards and a float. We have a shallow area that is buoyed in for the inexperienced swimmers. There are paddle boats, canoes, rowboats, etc. for your convenience to rent. However, we ask you not to bring your own boats into our water. There is also a 250' waterslide (additional fee) for your enjoyment, a playground for your children. Click here for our activities schedule. We have planned activities on the weekends - everything from Bingo and Fishing Derbies to Pot Luck Dinners and Horseshoe Tournaments. There is a snack bar should you like an ice cream cone, or pizza and a Country store for your camping supplies or souvenirs, a game room, and pavilions for group get togethers. Located near Montpelier's State Capitol, the Spider Web Farm, Waterbury's Ben and Jerry Ice Cream factory, Stowe, Barre's Rock of Ages Granite Quarries, Granite Museum and Thunder Road in Barre, the Floating Bridge, Northfield's Norwich University, Maple Sugaring, Antiques Shops, plus lots more nearby attractions and shopping.
